Please describe your company and your position there

RTI is a smart home technology company. I am the head of global marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bizmia, and what were your goals?

Our original site, built on the Magento platform was looking rather dated and did not enable an exceptional B2B experience. The new site needed to integrate fully with our Salesforce CRM to enable unique user experiences based on our multiple user groups, from content visibility to ordering capability to onboarding and training new team members.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We evaluated several developer partners for the project and felt that Bizmia was the right fit for us – the right skill-set, the right team with the right attitude.

How many people from the vendor’s team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The Bizmia leadership team was directly involved. We had regular contact with the two team leads below them, representing the work of several other team members.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The response to the new website has been outstanding. Our customers appreciate the enhanced usability and the enhanced Salesforce integration is enabling a more personalized experience.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness

We held weekly project meetings and used Jira for reporting and managing specific items. The Bizmia team was excellent at communicating progress, challenges, and decisions, input, the content they needed from us to keep the project on track.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Apart from the Bizmia team’s output, their positive and polite can-do attitude was a constant breath of fresh air. They were excellent instructors for the client-supplied items – mostly copy and graphics – that needed to format into the Magento platform.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I cannot recommend anything they could have done better.
